Its time we stop being politically correct and start being biblically correct, the elder Cruz told the Associated Press in 2014..

To his way of thinking, the Bible alone offers the framework for the entirety of civil society. .

I think the Hispanic community, the values that resonate in our community, are fundamentally conservative. They are faith, family, patriotism, Ted Cruz has said, in English, to non-Hispanic Americans. .

To his way of thinking, the Bible alone offers the framework for the entirety of civil society. That is not true. Cruz happens to like the workings of our Founding Fathers who built our form of government. Bible alone would indicate that he would be desirous of a theocracy, which he is not.

And what is best forgotten is simply the Hispanic political tradition of severity. Wow - so people shouldn't vote for Cruz because he's Hispanic. That author just confirmes the stereotype of conservatives as racists.
With friends like that....

I could easily imagine either Michelle Obama OR Hillary Clinton ordering the same in her household of their servants.

This is a wonderfully bad article.
“This twisted predisposition resonates in his declarations: I am blessed to receive a word from God every day in receiving the scriptures and reading the scriptures. And God speaks through the Bible.
Does America want a leader who claims to have a hotline to heaven?”
There are a lot of Christians who feel blessed to read the Bible every day. It is not a claim that they “have a hotline to heaven.”

And Ted Cruz, today, represents the same menace as someone who wishes to impose a theocracy in the United States. I think we'll have to get size Large pearls for Louis.

The author is pro-abortion. His idea of “tyranny” and “dictatorship” is a country where murdering babies is outlawed.

So how do you square your support of Cruz with your post from a few years ago below? Did the constitution change? Is it a living breathing document?

Those are two VERY different things! Dr. Fukino should stick to medicine and not dabble in constitutional law. I dont care if he was born in the Lincoln bedroom! If Barack Hussein Mohammed Obama, Senior (A British subject from Kenya) is Mr. Obamas father, there is no way he is a natural-born citizen!! Native-born, perhaps, but thats not what the constitution calls for.

Your posts may not be embarrassing to you,
but they are embarrassing to Free Republic.
You cant find something positive about your candidate,
so you attempt to say something bad about their opposition.
F*A*I*L
Can you not find anything at all to post that supports your candidate?

Jeebus, 2nd - "Highbrow Magazine is a politically liberal, general-interest magazine covering News & Politics, Media, Arts & Entertainment, Food, and Travel."
The resume of Highbrow's Big Cheesette editorette is enough to chase a dog off a gutwagon.
Cruz gets nominated, their heads will explode like the Martians in Mars Attacks!.

You are too dangerous to be allowed to post here. You cannot even make a comment about this ridiculous post demonizing your chosen candidate...Cruz/Bush...Faux Conservative. Take him back to Texas with you where you both can co-habitate ‘til his term as Senator expires and he is relegated to the slum-heap of failed pols.
