When you push God out of your life, you make room for evil to move in.
The last stat I saw on this was it's less than seven years now.
It's sad, really it is. What is wrong with my generation (I'm 54...) when the divorce rate is well over 60% itself? I say that as a divorcee who fought like hell to save my marriage.
Reading articles like this it's easy to see why so many women initiate divorce (bitterness, anger which gets fueled online and within their groups of friends.)
I never thought I'd say this, I'm glad my marriage of nearly 30 years is over. She was so bitter, so angry at so many things that had nothing to do with me that she was near impossible to live with. It was all about her and what happened to her before I even met her so long ago.
We poor men have no idea how broken some of these women truly are and they marry us expecting to right all the wrongs that have happened to them. We'll never meet that standard, we're as broken as they are most times.
Gee, maybe that's why the divorce rate in my generation is over 60%.
BTW: For the men on this thread who read this post -- if your wife ever refers to you as "DH" or "Dear Husband" .... that's code for her friends which tells them how much she really hates you. If you hear that phrase or see it in her emails or online posts your marriage is already over, you just don't know it yet. Trust me on this one.
