What's that noise? The sound of your failure to have some 'social media' consolidation tool you avail yourself of block me out? My comments are still here on this thread. You may as well stick your fingers in your ears and say "naah, naah, naah, I can't hear you". It's amazing how childish a man of your [alleged] age can be.

Face the facts. You don't own the airwaves around here, and you cannot censor free speech posted on FreeRepublic.

The insult and intimidation game you like to depend on (to help reassure yourself, and make yourself feel all better about yourself?) doesn't work on FreeRepublic. It has backfired. And now, I'm living 'rent free' in your head.

Reyna's gotta' go.

Mortman is right in the first sentence (below) and I do strongly suspect close in the neighborhood in remainder that follows;

Finally, most of the posters opposing the ongoing process in Waco do not allege that none of the bikers are guilty of something, but rather that the state is guilty of serious and malicious overreach. My personal opinion is that the DA has reached for something far beyond his grasp, and may in the end have hurt justice by obscuring so much of the day's actual events under clouds of political grandstanding.

Damaging "justice", and obscuring actual events? Yeah, there's been far too much of that due to how Reyna interjected himself and took control far too early-on into the process.

It's beginning to look like some seriously bad actors just may "get away with" having committed serious crimes? In the very least, it appears many will not be forced to give up their living to sin, and remain free to potentially continue, but who knows? --maybe a few will repent and may already have?

It could have gone far differently and still ended up with his DA's Office obtaining convictions for something near to 10% of the overall number of those whom his Office obtained indictments.

If Reyna had allowed some time for the Waco PD to complete their own investigations, then some unknown but limited number of indictments for criminal conspiracy could have been obtained at leisure. There is no statute of limitations for accessory to murder.

Have faith, though. Trust in God. In the end NOBODY gets away with ANYTHING -- not unless perhaps that shifted onto the Only Begotten, who just so happens to also be The Judge. That's the kind of faith that can preclude vigilantism, and if had been possessed by more of those who were present at Twin Peaks and ended up being arrested for the acts of commission of relative few --- the entire affair, start to finish could have been avoided.
