From American Heritage dictionary online: counterintelligence (kounˌtər-ĭn-tĕlˈə-jəns) n. The branch of an intelligence service charged with keeping sensitive information from an enemy, deceiving that enemy, preventing subversion and sabotage, and collecting political and military information.
NSA & CIA? Yes. Not vital and essential. FBI & DOJ? Wut? Aren't these concerned with domestic law enforcement?
Since 2016 the long list of corruption from the State Department was well known. What was becoming evident in that year was the level of complicity from the DOJ in doing nothing about it. 2017 was the year of learning that the FBI was also complicit in systemic cover for corrupt executive branch enterprisers.
People have known, or at least feared, for decades that our system of checks and balances is not balanced. Watching the watchers, otherwise known as oversight, exists in name only. The DOJ and FBI, do not check the President of the State Dept., and no one checks the DOJ and FBI.
For the last two years, we have seen no progress in exposing the illegal servers that were ran for the obvious purpose of hiding communications from everyone else in the government. All the reasons for hiding those communications were also corrupt.
Now that were are getting some limited segments of the media actually focusing on the problems inside the FBI and DOJ that were subverted to cover for the other operations inside the State Department and the DOJ that have existed for years, but we are getting ZERO ACTION.
That is because counter intelligence is an actual operation in our domestic law enforcement agencies, and they are still actively "keeping sensitive information from an enemy" and "deceiving that enemy"
The enemy, in case you didn't realize it, is the American people.
It's a shell game. Keep moving the target. Continue to deceive and obstruct. There will be no end to this. As long as they stall until "the enemy" loses it's representation in government.
