To oppose the writer’s assertions, the government has plenty of reasons to record biological sex, identification being only the most obvious. Stable societies provide a rational framework for family formation, procreation, and the raising of children. Ignoring that biology is vitally important in this is simply insanity, yet that is what the gender identity crowd demands we do.
