Harlem Nights, with Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy was hilarious. The old shows, Good Times and The Jeffersons were pretty good too.

I don’t know the shows that the author watches, but virtue signaling and chips on the shoulder have always had zero appeal and always will.

The Jeffersons is likely out for her because:

1. George Jefferson was a tough businessman and not a bleeding heart liberal.

2. Helen Willis was happily married to one of the whitest men in television history.

The narrative is all messed up in terms of liberal “Blackness.”

I do not usually suggest movies, but if you have a slightly demented sense of humor and a hatred of PC, you should watch the movie “Black Dynamite”. It is a shameles parody of 70’s blacksploitation movies and if you are a fan of off color absurd humor you may burst a kidney from laughing

“Coming to America” with Eddie Murphy was pretty funny, too. The over-the-top portrayal of an African King and his palace was hilarious.

Yeah, they were great.(/s) Of course every white adult male on either show was portrayed as either a heavy, a bigot or a fool.
