Why is Trump the most impervious U.S. president in history? (Canadian columnist pulls hair out)

Scott Gilmore: America’s president is a liar and fraudster whose scandals, which would have destroyed any politician before him, mean nothing

Last week the New York Times concluded an 18-month investigation with a front-page story that detailed hundreds of millions of dollars of tax fraud committed by the President of the United States. The magnitude of the scandal was unprecedented—no other American politician in history has ever been accused of a crime of this scope. According to financial records obtained by the newspaper, the president and his family illegally enriched themselves by hundreds of millions of dollars. And, making it worse, some of this money was obtained by defrauding lower-income tenants.

There is no question that if any president from Roosevelt to Obama had been accused of this, it would have plunged their administrations into crises, and likely ended their political careers.

And yet, in the Trump era, within 24 hours we had mostly forgotten about this scandal. The White House called it false and then refused to answer any more questions. Newspapers and newscasts turned to other stories. The social media dust storm blew off into another direction. Democratic politicians began to bark up different trees.

While Ronald Reagan was known as the Teflon President, Donald Trump is an entirely different league. Is it possible he is the most impervious, the most unassailable, or the strongest president in living memory?(continued)

They called Ronnie the “Teflon President.”

PDJT is the “Kevlar President.”

Both DuPont products, btw. Kevlar was invented by a female scientist.

Because instead of making a case against him the Left has been busy manufacturing one hysteric lie after another. Once voters saw the hysteric out of control sore loser behavior of the Demcrate leadership, and their whores in the Fake Media, voters simply stopped listening to their infantile babble.

Because NOBODY believes the NY Times when they publish a Trump hit-piece. It doesn’t qualify as a a “scandal” just because The Slimes claims it is. It isn’t more complicated than that.

If the Times reputation for fairness has long been in the toilet, it’s because they have nobody to blame but themselves.

These people still think they’re living in a prior decade when the MSM drives the agenda and the public laps it up.

There seem to be 5-10 new “Trump scandals” every day. The media is spraying us with a firehouse of outrage.

It is — at a minimum! — 99% Fake News. And no one really wants to sort through to see if maybe — maybe! — there is 1% worth talking about. So we reject all of the Liberal outrage before the ink is dry.

Because Trump graduated Junior High and no longer cares what the cool kids think.

When you don't let the GOP party wimps run your life, its amazing what you can accomplish.

Yes

National Enquirer has more credibility than the slimes. Most objective observers figure the IRS would have found this long ago if legitimate.

Also the boy has cried wolf far too many times.

The 2000+ lies were all told by progs and challenged by Trump. In the Marxist world this makes Trump the liar. In red America libs are the liars and Trump is the truth teller.

Today I followed a link to the Irish times and saw a sidebar story on Nikki Haley - I clicked on that and found the first paragraph attacked President Trump, calling him a racist and sexist bozo who was a clear and present danger to world peace and using the word Twilight Zone to describe the situation he’s brought us to. Really, buttheads? I thought I was reading some college student writing in Rolling Stone instead of a respected European paper. I feel sorry for our Irish friends across the pond whose opinions of the world are formed by such biased, hateful articles. I will not post the link here because why give them more clicks.

Because we have been too busy fending off smears, false accusations and lies to be bothered with “new” smears, false accusations and lies by the NYT.

It’s kind of related to the Boy Who Cried Wolf and the boy is the progressive Left who has a stellar record of crying wolf so many times we’ve lost count (almost).

Any other questions?

Yep. When the Outrage-Meter is always cranked to eleven, it just becomes ignorable white noise.

“When everything’s a scandal...nothing will be.”

Trump did not commit tax fraud. His family used the same strategies rich liberals have used to avoid paying the absurd death tax the Dims refuse to repeal.

Fake News, Fake Scandal from the Fake Newspaper.
