Nancy Pelosi is 78 years old, Maxine Waters is 80 years old. This is reaching the point of being a liability, as health is soon going to be a HUGE factor in their continued influence, if it is not already.
The question of mental stability has already been raised, in Speaker-Designate Pelosi’s instance, might she have the onset of some kind of dementia? And there are signs that Auntie Maxine may have never had all that much in the logic/reasoning department to begin with, continuing to lose it more and more on an almost daily basis.
I was raised to respect my elders, but since I am older than EITHER of them, the facade of politeness may be dropped. Nobody is above criticism, but everybody can earn praise by doing the right thing.
Indeed they are out of their element.

Every time Waters appears on TV the Democrats lose at least 10,000 votes nationwide. Let’s not get in the way of her grandstanding. :)

I kinda agree...there are three paths going on with the Democrats presently. First, the quit-now crowd who’ve started walking out in the past two years. Second, the crowd who will ask what they’ve accomplished from 1 January 2019 to summer 2020, and determine they’ve wasted 18 months doing virtually nothing...deciding upon a vote for the Green Party in 2020. Third, the eternal crowd, who will stay on for better or worse.

I don’t think she’s dumb at all. In fact, she’s pretty smart. Just crazy as a loon when power and money are involved.
Fortunately Obama showed how you can stall and stonewall subpoenas for years or at least until the next election.
She may not be an Einstein or even have much fluency with numbers, but she can calculate what’s to her personal advantage with extraordinary precision. Her overreaching greed and corruption, which she will not fail to exploit with her new authority, gives Trump’s new attorney general an opportunity to investigate and prosecute her.

Mad Maxine Kerosene will be the Wild Woman of the House on steroids. PDJT already has read her like a cheap novel and knows how to play her like a cheap fiddle. He’ll tease, torment, & stonewall her storm of subpoenas until she blows bigger than Mount St. Helens.
