It’s a smart move, for sure.
The opposite of that smart move is what Ravelry is doing - NOT banning the topics, only particular opinions on those topics.
Talk about a policy that may as well have been designed to generate blowback!
The worst aspect of it is that they are banning people on the basis of a lie. They have defined-down “white supremacism” to mean anything that is traditionally Christian, traditionally patriotic, and which adheres to the common-sense notion that our bi-partisan immigration laws must be enforced, and that failure to protect the borders will destroy the country through uncontrollable and unsustainable immigration.
