At least 2,804 deaths today despite decreasing number of new cases and hospitalizations.
CDC asked nursing homes to report ‘probable’ CV19 fatalities, only yesterday. This jump likely reflects that change.
i saw a report a few days ago that over 4500 died in 24 hours in the USA alone...the New York total for that day was like 650...can someone tell me where the hell the other 4000 was?...what states??...
I don’t believe anything except government destroyed million of lives and businesses and are the enemy.
Good news is that heart attacks and strokes and terminal cancer deaths are all down thanks to Corona! And yet the press isnt even courious as to why?
Worldometter has 5k more deaths for NY that’s Ny itself is reporting. Not sure why.
I would also caution that the CDC is keeping the official national tally. It’s 1-2 weeks behind and it may eventually come in way lower.
Of the top 14 countries listed in order of Deaths per One million people, the USA is 14th at 137. All (except one) that have a higher death count are all European.
Sweden is in the lower third at 175.
Thanks, was wondering why. Most of the increase is also from Michigan and Pennsylvania. Wonder if they were feeling some pressure.
On April 14, NYS did a big data dump of over 3,700 previously unreported fatalities (March 11 to April 13) from nursing homes and private homes.
For a short while Worldometer reported April 14 as having over 6100 daily deaths for the whole USA (mostly from NYS).
After getting info from NYS, Worldometer redistributed the excess 3700+ to the various actual dates, so that huge national 6100 death spike is now gone from their graph.
From now until the election ... anyone who dies, it’s because of the Wu Flu!

Cuomo reported 484 for yesterday. By 6PM Worldometer had jumped that number to 740. This is the 4th day in a row that has happened. Tomorrow Cuomo’s graph will use the 484 number. This isxall very weird.

Never RATE of fatalities which is dropping daily, nor AGES of fatalities.

2804 deaths in one day would be very surprising. I calculate a 7 day running. average of new US Coronavirus deaths and that average has been very steady at just below 2000/day for the last week.
Could be it happened. Could be someone messing with the data.
