Trump should have Pence give an Update as lead of Task Force. He could take a few questions. Entire event should be 30 minutes. Trump should now focus on turning up economy and speaking about that.
We are at a point now where daily briefings are not needed. I think two to three a week would be good when there is something important to provide to the American people. Also, would limit the questions to five or six with no followup questions. However, I think President Trump enjoys most of the back and forth with the WH press corp with the exception of the CBS, CNN -itches and a couple of the guys like Acosta (another -itch)
2 or 3 times a week Trump can hold an address from the Oval DONE!! No reporters just an update to the American people!!!

So what? Nothing new about media doing that. Trump got overexposed yesterday. We do not need to see that again. He can continue to hold press briefings but he needs to be more selective about it and not allow media “bait” him.
We caught up on ventilators, masks and beds. Confirmed cases and numbers are going down. The job of re-opening has been handed to the states.
And the reporters’ questions are pernicious.
So, let’s get back to work.

The problem is that they (press) are communicating lies 100% of the time, and no matter what he does, or doesn’t do, he’ll be lambasted by them. It’s always lose-lose when it comes to the press.
It’s always a trap. If he does briefings he’s attacked, and if he doesn’t do them he’s attacked.
He needs to turn over the briefings to Pence Kayleigh McEnany and say that now that the crisis has wound down, his next step is to focus on rebuilding the economy. Press won’t attack Pence because it’s not fun for them. And Kayleigh will rip them to shreds.
