Eric Holder, accused of murdering Ermias Asghedom, was scheduled to go to trial last month. Superior Court Judge Perry promised Eric that he would retain his right to a speedy trial. A month later, the County Clerk offices, and courthouses in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and other cities around Southern California are closed until further notice.
Holder, 30, stands accused of fatally shooting “Nipsey” and a friend, ten or twelve times, outside of his LA, clothing store in Watts. Los Angeles Police Department Chief Michel Moore said, as the funeral procession for Nipsey passed by the clothing store in memorial, another person was shot dead and three more injured.
