AP Exclusive: Black Lives Matter opens up about its finances
Associated Press ^ | February 23, 2021 | Aaron Morrison

The foundation widely seen as a steward of the Black Lives Matter movement says it took in just over $90 million last year, according to a financial snapshot shared exclusively with The Associated Press. […]

The foundation said it committed $21.7 million in grant funding to official and unofficial BLM chapters, as well as 30 (b)lack-led local organizations. It ended 2020 with a balance of more than $60 million, after spending nearly a quarter of its assets on the grant funds and other charitable giving.

In its report, the BLM foundation said individual donations via its main fundraising platform averaged $30.76. More than 10% of the donations were recurring. The report does not state who gave the money in 2020, and leaders declined to name prominent donors.

Last year, the foundation’s expenses were approximately $8.4 million — that includes staffing, operating and administrative costs, along with activities such as civic engagement, rapid response and crisis intervention. […]

Leaders at the BLM foundation admit that they have not been clear about the movement’s finances and governance over the years. But now the foundation is more open about such matters. It says the fiscal sponsor currently managing its money requires spending be approved by a collective action fund, which is a board made up of representatives from official BLM chapters. …

“ 30 (b)lack-led local organizations”

What is this garbage AP?! You know you capitalize “Black” when talking about race, right? Do “Black led organizations” not COUNT as race?

The “Black Lives Matter” movement is partnered with the nonprofit group, Thousand Currents.

This is important because the Vice Chair of the Thousand Currents nonprofit, is Susan Rosenberg.

In 1985, Rosenberg was convicted for possessing hundreds of pounds of explosives. She and her organizations involved in multiple robberies, police officer assassinations, and bombings.

Rosenberg was sentenced to 58 years in prison. She spent 16-years in federal prison before being pardoned by Bill Clinton on his last day in office.

Now, Rosenberg is leading the fundraising efforts for Black Lives Matter. ...”

“The report does not state who gave the money in 2020, and leaders declined to name prominent donors.”

The people who funded the Burning, Looting, and Murder are no doubt proud to have done so.

Please, BLM, go ahead and give them the credit they deserve. Let them be recognized and rewarded.

Oh...they’re now open about their “finances.” So that somehow negates the fact their leaders are *admitted* communists who call for the destruction of the family as a matter of public policy?

What about all the “dark money” that was funding the placement and distribution of the attack squads and the deployed piles of bricks and skateboards that were the weapons of choice, or the preparation of the frequent use of Molotov cocktails by the flash mobs?

There shall NEVER anything like an accounting of THAT funding. George Soros and many of the wealthy oligarch contributors never have to own up to the cash flow.

“The report does not state who gave the money in 2020, and leaders declined to name prominent donors.”

So, contrary to the story's title, BLM is NOT "opening up" about its finances.

Black Lives Matter [New York] leader states if US ‘doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system’

“[Hawk] Newsome told the host, “if this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it. All right?

And I could be speaking ... figuratively. I could be speaking literally.
It’s a matter of interpretation. ...”

BLM co-founder, Patrisse Cullors, says in interview she and co-founder, Alicia Garza, are inspired by Mao Zedong

Meanwhile, Mao Zedong, via his so-called “Great Leap Forward” and “Cultural Revolution”, is reported to have killed close to 70 million people!

Below, from Time Magazine, February 26, 2018

“[Patrisse] Cullors [CO-FOUNDER “BLACK LIVES MATTER”] weaves her intellectual influences into this narrative, from black feminist writers like Audre Lorde and bell hooks, to Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin and Mao Zedong.

Reading those social philosophers “provided a new understanding around what our economies could look like,” she says.

Profile: Mao Zedong (aka Mao tse-Tung)

“Mao Zedong was the Chairman of the Chinese Communist Party from 1949 until his death in 1976.

Mao is arguably the greatest mass murderer in history, eclipsing even the murderous Joesph Stalin in this regard.

Some 70 million Chinese, along with countless Tibetans, Mongolians, Manchus, Koreans, Hmong, Uyghurs, and other nationalities, perished at his hands during his long and brutal reign.”

Yeah, what’s up with this? These black lives matter women are avowed Marxists. Why are they so into all of this brazen capitalist fundraising, and concerned with money, of all things? If they had their way, we would all be communists and have no personal possessions, as the state would wither away, with everything being owned in common with everyone else . No need for money in a black lives matter paradise.

Cliff's Notes: Eric Mann

Black Lives Matter co-founder describes herself as ‘trained Marxist’

by Yaron Steinbuch, New York Post, June 25, 2020

Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors said in a newly surfaced video from 2015 that she and her fellow organizers are “trained Marxists” – making clear their movement’s ideological foundation, according to a report.

Cullors, 36, was the protégé of Eric Mann, former agitator of the Weather Underground domestic terror organization, and spent years absorbing the Marxist-Leninist ideology that shaped her worldview, Breitbart News reported.

“The first thing, I think, is that we actually do have an ideological frame. Myself and Alicia in particular are trained organizers,” she said, referring to BLM co-founder Alicia Garza.

We are trained Marxists. ...”

Mann, Eric – Special Collections and University Archives

Part 2 of 2, ERIC MANN

“Mann was elected to SDS [Students for a Democratic Society] national committee in 1968.[18] He told the Associated Press that he believed in “continuous resistance” against “institutions and policies of corporate capitalism” and that SDS chapters transition from campus protests groups to community groups that would guide students as a “de facto government.”[19]

When SDS splintered into three groups in 1969, Mann, then a leader in the SDS faction, the Weathermen (Weather Underground), adopted the Revolutionary Youth Movement’s belief that violent “direct action,” a euphemism for terrorism, should be used as a tactic to dismantle the group’s perceived power centers of “US imperialism”.[20]

Mann and 20 others were arrested in September 1969 for participation in a direct action against the Harvard Center for International Affairs, which the Revolutionary Youth Movement saw as a university-sponsored institution for counter-insurgency.[14] [21]

Mann and 24 other Weathermen were charged with conspiracy to commit murder after two bullets were fired through a window of the police headquarters on November 8, 1969.

Mann surrendered to the police on four counts stemming from the November 8 incident: conspiracy to commit murder, assault with intent to commit murder, promotion of anarchy, and threatening.[22]

Mann was sentenced to two years in prison of which he spent 18 months in Billerica, Deer Island, and Concord State Prison ...”
