Here is my theory about the whole trial. I believe that the judge KNEW that the charges against Chauvin were bogus and he did everything he could to signal this to the defense. He made OBVIOUSLY bad decisions like not sequestering the jury and not moving the trial out of Mineapolis ON POURPOSE to give the defense ammunition on appeal. I think he knew there was no way Chauvin would be aquitted even though he knew the charges were not supported by the facts and he even signaled it to the defense by trashing Maxine Waters. He was saying APPEAL and I am helping you because no way the jury won’t convict. I think the Judge intentionally conducted a very bad trial.

George Floyd was a career criminal and had a long rap sheet. He lived in a world of drugs, petty and violent crime, prison time, etc. Long before Derek Chauvin kneeled on his neck, Floyd was already on a collision course to an early death. The reinventing of who George Floyd actually was—a career criminal with serious addiction and mental health problems—is a false narrative.
