Usually when it gets hot here we have a nice breeze off the water. Not the past 3 days though......but we stayed comfy. Just gotta prepare.

As a kid growing up in Bakersfield our cooling centers were the sprinklers and popsicles.
Gee, I didn’t know the less affluent could afford Whidbey Island, where it’s so hot. My cousin the bank VP lives somewhere on Whidbey, even though her bank is in Seattle. She grew up in Port Orchard, where most of her family remains, so she wanted to stay close.
Here north of Seattle near Puget Sound it is down to 86. Was up to 97 earlier. It is still 97 in the Seattle area.
