Saturday Night Live took aim at the Congressional hearings against social media giant Facebook in its latest episode
Cast member Heidi Gardner played Frances Haugen, the Facebook whistleblower who testified before Congress on Tuesday
In the sketch, she has to field questions from Congressmembers about how social media works
Sen. Diane Feinstein, played by Cecily Strong, asks her if 2,000 friends on Facebook is a high number
Sen. Neely Kennedy also asks her where the algorithm is located and how big it is,
while Sen. Ted Cruz asks how he could stop being cyberbullied
Lindsey Graham also says he is upset with the buff guys he sees on Instagram and Corey Booker asks if his relationship with Rosario Dawson makes sense
They then show her a series of memes and ask her about that before Sen. Richard Blumenthal breaks it up for lunch
But first, he says they are getting a livestream from 'the OG king of social media,' Tom from MySpace, played by Pete Davidson

Times like this, I miss Rush Limbaugh. He would have had something to say about this so-called “whistleblower.”

I wish you luck in discerning the difference.

Ask her to whistle.
I’ll bet she can’t.

The fact that it’s on SNL proves the whole thing is a psyop to get us to beg the government to censor us.

I was just thinking this morning that things will never be the same with Rush gone.

Aidy Bryant’s portrayal of Cruz is HYSTERICAL.

Whistle blower, not whistler.

I don't watch snl but this is funny. I am going to have to watch the real hearings now I started watching it and thought it was way off target and really not very clever.
Perhaps it got better later on, but the first half that I saw, I wouldn't recommend to anybody.

Unfunny, stupid skit, not worth the time.

This!

How can people even watch this crap? It is NOT funny. It is stupid. They may as well call the show DNC live and list it as a donation in kind to the Democrat party.

Has anyone else noticed that in all this stupidity surrounding this "whistleblower" complaining how they STOPPED election interfering after Jan 6, and all the hilarity that has ensued
THAT SHE IS ADMITTING THEY INTERFERED *BEFORE* JAN 6? Although I do love it when hilarity ensues.

I don't watch snl but this is funny. I don't watch SNL either, because it long ago stopped being funny. If this skit is designed to show a new SNL that is worth watching, it fails completely. It is offensive garbage.
