[R]ight now every current and former A10 pilot is chomping at the bit. This is the exact cold war scenario they've been training for for 50 years.
A competent president could dust off the Lend-Lease Act strategy, and lend Ukraine some A-10's. They could then pay the pilots. The results would be spectacular.

If A10s where deployed in Ukraine, the sky’s would immediately be swarming with MIGs and Sukhoi’s and those A10s would be toast. An A10 is pretty much on par with a Cessna against a modern fighter jet.
