“There is a certain kind of rebel attitude associated with getting inked.“
Maybe years ago that was the case but not any more. They are just sheep copying what others are doing and thinking they are hip or something.
I see little independent thought these days. Just sheep everywhere.
I think most tattoos pay homage to their master-Satan!
In psychiatry the old chestnut was 1 or 2 tattoos ok.
3 or more? Problem.
Not having tattoos...
That is what I told my son. And he noticed.
No tats and he stands out.
The women seem to have more tats than the men.
Leviticus 19:28. “Ye shall nor make any cuttings in the flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.”
I don’t know if this still is relevant now under Grace instead of under the Law, but I absolutely avoid people who have them.
What I don’t understand is how people who supposedly can’t afford food or decent clothes for their kids can afford to cover their skin with this crap, pay for corn row hairstyles, etc.
Tattoos CANNOT make an ugly woman pretty, but they sureasHell can make a pretty woman UGLY!
hell, cops have more ink than bikers did 20yrs ago...
I see too many women with arm sleeve tattoos.
Seeing women in bikinis with lots of tattoos equals yuck!
Add in some nose piercings equals more yuck!
That about sums it up for me.
Actually it is the opposite. They are conformists going along with and marking themselves as members of their chosen tribe.
My generation considered tattoos as something the “lower class” men did, though they also tended to be former military men. No one ever saw a woman who had them in my world. I considered tattoos were “tacky”. Then I fell in love with a former Marine. I didn’t see the tats until it was too late because he always covered them with sleeves. When I saw them they were the Marine signs and Mother. He would never go and have my name tattooed. He was embarrassed by them after he became a preacher, so he never took his shirt off outside the house. We were married 51 years. Just an example of how young people can do silly things that become a problem as life grows and changes.
Tats & piercings = easy.
No, they are wannabees. No gang of thugs would accept them so they went to work for the gov’mt.
