If there is anyone who has not seen the fifty years of insanely wrong climate predictions, here they are:

https://cei.org/blog/wrong-again-50-years-of-failed-eco-pocalyptic-predictions/

The mass media always gets it wrong—totally wrong—stunningly wrong—and then they double down!

In the 70s scientist we’re worried about another mini iceage and fossil fuel would be gone

Then it was we’ll all be dead by 2000 of food shortages.

Then it was global warming and ocean rises.

Now it’s climate change and we’ll all be dead in about 8 more years because the temperature is rising and oceans are rising and the polar ice caps are melting and we’re running out of food again.

To me it’s Sunday, we have plenty of fossil fuel, plenty of food but a shxtload of braindead climate cultist.

the 1970s the same 70’s where the TOP scientists said we were headed into the next ice age... those 70’s???

Nonsense. In the 1970s, global cooling was the leftist fear porn. It was on the news, in the papers, on magazine covers. Also, how can anyone “know” the future on the global climate? Even today with super computers all the climate models, all the them produce completely inaccurate results than never track the real results of the climate. Global warming did not even become a thing until the mid 1980s and that was only when the global cooling fear porn faded from reality.

Global warming / climate change - as in humans are the cause, is leftist false unproven science. CO2 is not warming the atmosphere which is then heating the sea. That is silly. Air does not have the energy content to warm the oceans. It is much more likely that underwater volcanoes are warming the ocean, which then adds water vapor to the atmosphere. The only real warming of the atmosphere is generally in the arctic and only in the winter. That is when a slight increase in water vapor works to change the temperature.

The solubility of CO2 in water is inversely proportional to temperature

Since CO2 is soluble in water and the oceans cover a majority of the Earth's surface, the oceans sequester more CO2 than any other CO2 sink.

Because of the inverse solubility of CO2 with temperature, the colder the oceans get, the more CO2 they can absorb.

Conversely, when the oceans get warmer, they expel CO2.

Atmospheric CO2 therefore follows global temperatures, it does not cause them.

You can see the yearly global atmospheric CO2 fluctuation as the oceans warm and cool with the seasons in the NOAA graph below.

The "settled science" that CO2 causes "climate change" is therefore criminal sophistry.

And I’ll bet they have just as much research from the same time period showing the exact opposite, with the intent of releasing later whichever set of information benefits them the most.

Has a study been done of the effect of a total disuse of fossil fuels on the welfare, or even survival chances, of mankind?
Can mankind even survive without the use of fossil fuels?

More accurate than the Guardian’s 2001 estimate about how much of Europe would be underwater by 2020, I’m sure.

Urban growth and CFC emission reduction (and global warming ozone destruction reduction) could be responsible for temperature increases.

In wetter places, CO2 effects will be more dominated by water vapor effects.

It would be best (but by no means important) to ensure drier places get solar panels (and electric cars instead of ICE cars) first.

Drier places tend to get more sun.

I’d be willing to bet they funded a lot of studies, some of which drew opposite conclusions to those being touted here.

New climate data by NOAA scientists doubles the warming trend since the late 1990s by adjusting pre-hiatus temperatures downward and inflating temperatures in more recent years.

GISS US tampering.
