That still doesn’t explain how Chuck Schumer ever let it get out of the Senate and onto Biden’s desk.

Good. Smaller more focused bills and lots of them. None of this omnibus garbage. Get the issues and where all stand on them defined.

What has that got to do with this?

It only takes a simple majority in the Senate. Fetterman was out and in the hospital, and Manchin voted for it, as did — I think — Sinema (who is now an independent). I think Mark Kelly also voted for it.

One if the biggest of the many crimes by the government was allowing public employees to unionize. Even the far-left FDR said it was a stupid idea that was probably unconstitutional.

Allowing public employees to unionize basically held the rest of America hostage to public employees.

It was an EO directed at the DoL, who is in charge of ERISA. And ERISA has jurisdiction over all pension funds. Thus, this EO is ultra vires and does not only pertain to the Govt agency, it will also directly affect you if you have any kind of private retirement account. This is an illegal backdoor run around Congress. Mr. Speaker, SUE THEM.

The Senate would have had to’ve passed it too.

“If Biden’s veto means he’s taking on the GOP House … then how did this bill pass the Democrat-controlled Senate?”

Exactly. Surcharge nonsense they write.

The house needs to end the omnibus bill at the end of the year nonsense and send smaller, focused bills on individual issues. This one is a nice start especially even if it got vetoed. The vetoes draw undeniable lines between the parties.

Correct. Marxists rule.

The Only tool that traditional America has left lay in the US House of Representatives will to DEFUND them.

What are the chances these will pull us up from our spinning Free Fall?

Anything less is hot air and compliance, for our collapse.

veteran AP media pro/whore, Zeke Miller, knows not to use the factual acronym - ESG - in the headline ... nor in the text:

“But critics say so-called environmental, social and governance investments”

Aiming to stop the vetoes is a fools errand. This is the very first veto Biden has had to make. The aim should be to clearly define the opposing viewpoints and policies. Have him make a _lot_ of vetoes. That’s the best that can be done when only controlling one of three branches of government.

Wait a minute. This must have made it past a democrat Senate.

More media propaganda. And most people don’t even stop to think.

True. But how did this pass the Senate? What was the vote in the Senate? If it did not pass in the Senate there can be no veto. If it did pass in the Senate then it was bipartisan and the writer should have written that.

The House has the purse.

I can think of large number executive entities that need reductions if not complete defunding.

It passed in the Senate. Fetterman was unavailable, and Manchin voted for it, as well as — I think — Sinema and Kelly. It was close in the Senate, but it passed. It then went to Biden.

Thanks for the info. And Chucky Schumer knew that Biden would veto it, so he did not care that it passed.
