It’s not even middle school-level sophistication.
I don’t like DeSantis.
I also don’t like people taking a clip out of context.
The context was these two guys were workaholics and would often shower where they worked, and used the same bathroom that was designed for multiple people to use at the same time. Like a dorm bafhroom for the entire floor or section of a floor.
Its like trying to say two guys who went to college together showered “together” because they were both in the gym shower area at the same time.
Its a juvenile thing. And trying to make it something it wasn’t.

Good thing Donald Trump was never in the Navy (or any other branch of the military) because - OMG! - he would have been forced to shower with men. Can’t trust those sailors!! Trump reserved his nakedness for prostitutes, Playboy bunnies, beauty contestants, and other such females.
