Dylan Mulvaney was invited to audition for the upcoming Broadway revival of Cabaret - in which Eddie Redmayne is expected to be cast in the male lead.
The trans influencer, 26, has a musical theater background - having performed as Elder White in the Book of Mormon before the pandemic and her gender transition.
According to Page Six, Mulvaney auditioned in front of Broadway producers to play the female lead Sally Bowles at the August Wilson Theater in New York City.
Cabaret takes place in a seedy nightclub in Berlin, Germany, in the late 1920s just as the Nazis and Adolf Hitler are rising to power. It originally opened on Broadway in 1966
Sally Bowles is a British flapper girl - who is the headlining singer at the nightclub.
The role is currently being played by Euphoria's Maude Apatow in London's Playhouse Theater.
In April 2020, when Book of Mormon closed because of the pandemic, Mulvaney wrote on Instagram: 'Thank you to all for sending love my way for the Mormon tour's closing! I can't believe I got to have this be my first big gig out of school.
'What I don't think a lot of people know is that when you tour, Your coworkers become your family and your home is usually a hotel room. As much as I wish I got to do the show one more time (we didn't know it would be our last), I mostly wish I got to hug everyone goodbye.
'To my Mormon family: I promise I will find you and harass you about CHEER as soon as this is all over. I love you with every ounce of my being and you are my forever friends. This book has SOOOO changed my life.'

gross.
He doesn’t even look female. Lipstick on a pig.
Welp, not like I was gonna see a Broadway show anyway.
The insane left learned nothing.
Considering the content, it might actually make sense.
Wow, playing both the male and female lead in the same production?
This trans fad has really gotten out of hand.
But I guess these people are supermen/women, whatever.
Maybe he should audition for “The Crying Game”.
And creepy, not to mention weird!
In my youth, I was a Kit Kat dancer in a production of Cabaret. I was the first dancer to hit the stage, swinging out my chair, executing a fan kick over the top of my head with my foot landing on pointe over the back onto the seat of the chair. That was just the start; it got more difficult from there.
I can still remember it. Trained for 3 months and the choreographer was great to work with.
Now, I’m lucky to make it up the stairs without collapsing.
Thanks, Fauci.
It’s not gross - it’s perfect.
When Cabaret debuted in the 1960s, it was meant as an anti-Nazi statement.
Go watch it now and tell me it doesn’t make you want to run out and join the Party,
is the lead of homosexual.
Ditto
The kind of people who patronize Broadway will love this. They’ll sell a ton of tickets. I’m sure multiple Tony awards will result.
Cabaret was laying the ground for all this 50 years ago. This new development is entirely appropriate.
How to lose money in easy steps.

The Daily Mail says that Dylan Mulvaney is auditioning for the role of Sally Bowles.
I heard that Mulvaney was instead auditioning for the role of a young Adolf Hitler.
But my sources could be wrong.
Honestly..
This would be a HUGE WIN. on both sides.
Cabaret, has been done, and redone to death.
Mulvaney, if even close to capable of pulling off the role. Has name recognition, controversy. And creates Buzz.
The theatre goers, can virtue signal how they are “celebrating Dylan” and all that.
And all of the Liza freaks will identify with Dylan.
both would be crazy to say no here. Dylan, pulls in people, sells tickets. And puts in motion on a career on path on Broadway.
I think he's been looking for a career on Broadway from day one. He just found a slightly grandiose way of getting there, although I think there have been even more outrageous stories of "how I got to Broadway."

This actually has ALL of the makings of The “Life of Dylan” becoming an actual Broadway Musical... And Made for TV movies etc...
