What would be the earliest age to start teaching gun safety?
I’m seriously asking that question. I think a two-year old is probably old enough to start learning that stuff at basic levels.

It sure wouldn’t hurt to start talking to a toddler about what not to touch. Guns, the stove, matches, etc. No details, yet. Any details would probably just confuse.

Our children and grandchildren started learning “No” and “Don’t touch” immediately upon being able to move from the spot in which they were placed or to reach out for something. Therefore, gun safety lessons started before age two. As they became older, reasoning and explanations were included in those lessons.
