This is pretty much a standard thing at a USMC Birthday Ball. One Ball I was at in 1970s, one Marine swung at another, missed but hit his nine month pregnant wife who was knockout and immediately went into labor. One Marine stepped out of the fray still holding a beer, looked at me and said something to the effect of “ain’t this some wild $hit” then promptly face planted onto a concrete floor. I called a Corpsman who said, “f-him, we are delivering a baby.” This is why I love Marines. Last couple of Balls I went to catered to the officers and were boring as hell. Glad to see some Marines are keeping traditions alive😂
