Nobody cares... until someone’s injured... and the injured party’s lawyers uncover all the violations... and the formerly carefree people are sweating through the deposition... then they’ll care.

The problem is that the law will actually go after law-abiding citizens while the criminals are free to do as they please.

I mentioned a similar scenario several times in threads here about electric vehicle charging stations being a great spot for gangs to pounce on, if EV’s were going to become mandatory. There would never be enough charging stations to accommodate all those cars, and people would be lined up behind one another, with no egress possible. They’d be sitting ducks for criminals. If they’re doing it at gas stations, then they’d do it at EV charging stations.

No wonder no one wants to be a Policeman in Oakland, CA. Risk your life for people who hate you.

Is a double double cheeseburger worth the risk? Only if you have nothing in your car or in your trunk or on your person that could be considered resellable.

I go to this location fairly often. Nothings ever happened to me. But I stay away from the drive-thru. It doesn’t feel safe.

“”I can go behind the cars and try and turn on my lights””

TRY to turn on the lights? Is that a difficult thing to do?

When asked why he robbed banks, Sutton simply replied, “Because that’s where the money is.”

and the cops can’t figure it out, you fight crime where crime is, not where you want it to be...

That’s why I support disbanding all police departments. We’ve reached a point where the police do nothing to prevent crime, but they will arrest you or me if we use firearms to defend our lives and property. Therefore we must eliminate the police so there will be no one to harass law abiders who dispense street justice.

You won't like what will replace them.

I stay away from the drive-thru. It doesn’t feel safe.

I got robbed at gunpoint at a McDonald's drive-thru in the center of Philadelphia some years ago, on the main Broad Street, a few blocks from City Hall. You have to go behind the building and exit into a side street and then back to the main street. A guy stuck a handgun right in the window at my face. I gave him all the money I had on me, which wasn't much, and then started praying for him. He said, "Shut up, lady," but he went away.

God protected me that day.

He means that turning on his lights is now ineffective because the law no longer lets cops pursue in a car. So he does it, but because it doesn't work, it feels like trying instead of succeeding.

It’s not the cops’ fault if the woke city council and district attorney pass laws that cripple police operations, and then let the criminals back out on the street with no consequences.

Most big corporations, like Shell, Chevron, In-N-Out Burger, would have closed by now, for economic and safety reasons. It’s kind of strange that this hasn’t happened.

How do they get people to work there? Who would want to work there? Does the company make employees sign a waiver, stating their families won’t sue for negligence if their loved one is killed due to the consistent and predictable inability of the company to provide even the most basic security? Why do these large corporations remain in such a dangerous area - leaving both their employees and customers in such danger?
