Americans are tired of throwing money at losing wars. I remember the same pleas about Vietnam 60 years ago. Then it was Nicaragua, Lebanon, Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan. I see no point in throwing money at an other losing war.
We all know the Biden regime egged this war on as a gift to the MIC and to launder billions of our tax dollars. This writer wants us to make more useless sacrifices to support a notoriously corrupt country to try to hang on to territory that was Russia's before the Soviet Union and is mostly ethnic Russian. I'm sick of caring about political wars on the other side of the world while the Biden regime and it's Wokesters are destroying this country whom they think is full of “Deplorables”. If this war is so important then the EU can get off their pampered arses and take care of it. I'm concerned about my family and country.

It is a lot better fighting foreign wars that defending yourself from foreign invasions.
Unfortunately US lost idea how to fight efficiently.
Instead to fight to win, we fight to make our enemies to like us. Again and again , like in Irag, Vietnam and Afghanistan, we loose.
Afghanistan was the worst example how to totally loose war we won!

Ukraine is a poor country, fighting brutal foreign invasion of Putin Russia.
Putin is likely not going to stop with Ukraine.
The money they ask is actually pittance in the huge federal budged. We spend lot more on WAR on Poverty, which we lost like 40 years ago, on “global warming” hoax, on covid hoax, road diets, environment hoaxes, EV’s, banning pipelines and mining, etc. etc.
If we just stop pouring money into all that black holes in the USA, we will have more than enough to help Ukraine and run surplus!
