It was a bit before my time, but there were documentaries (ex. Titticut follies) of how horrible mental institutions were in the 1960s. That spurred the effort to close them down and throw the crazy people into alleys. At this point, sensible people should look back at the “horrible” mental institutions of the 1960s and say that they were a lot better than the drug ravaged streets of the 21st century. Mental institutions should not be luxurious and no one should aspire to the “easy life” of the nuthouse. They can be bad places. But they can easily be better than being homeless in an alley.

Liberals want perfection. That’s why they closed state mental hospitals. They think the situation on Venice Beach is an improvement. Liberals get everything wrong.

You’ve been remarkably clear case lately-good job.
I agree with your replies to an extent.

It’s the concentration that is the biggest problem.

If the people were spread out more evenly, the states could probably handle it better than the current super concentrations in the wealthy blue states.

When the Polynesians inhabited Hawaii, everyone had a hut. It took pathological wealthy liberals to create an homelessness epidemic. They’ll create endless govt to solve the problem that they created and feel great about themselves in the process.
