I’ve seen youtubes of Venice Beach. Thousands of mentally ill homeless people. Living in tents and boxes next to million dollar beachfront properties.
All anyone can say is.....
Elections have consequences.
In the 90s we had maybe 20 permanent homeless on Venice beach. We looked out for them and they kept an eye out for us. We used to know each other by name. My how times have changed .
Decades ago we lived in Marina del Rey, about a mile south of Santa Monica where my kids went to Santa Monica high school. They walked down that beach almost every morning to get there, no problem whatsoever.
Infuriating and truly sad. to see what’s happened to that beautiful beach.
