A New York judge issued a gag order Tuesday barring Donald Trump from making public statements about witnesses, prosecutors, court staff and jurors in his upcoming hush-money criminal trial.
Judge Juan M. Merchan cited the former president’s prior comments about him and others in the case, as well as a looming April 15 trial date, in granting a prosecution request for what it termed a “narrowly tailored” order barring Trump from making certain out-of-court statements.
“It is without question that the imminency of the risk of harm is now paramount,” Merchan wrote.
Prosecutors had asked for the gag order, citing what they called Trump’s “long history of making public and inflammatory remarks” about people involved in his legal cases. …

Where in law can a judge forcefully limit a citizen’s First Amendment right? They pulled this on Trump before and I believe his defense attorneys made a major fail not challenging that on Constitutional grounds.
Wouldn’t want Trump to influence the jurors in any way. That’s the MSM’s job.
They also attacked Trump’s Eighth Amendment rights.
This judge may be saving Trump from himself.

Trump should bring a copy of the Constitution to his next (witch) “Trial” in case the “judge” or Prosecution team is not familiar with it.

No one has been harmed by any of the “dangerous “ statements by President Trump.
THis order shoud be defied, and if held in contempt, Trump should appeal the contempt order based on 1st amendment issues, thereby postponing the trial for many months.
This judge should not be on this case, he was secifically chosen for his antiT-rump sentiments, he was not assigned by rotation of judicial duties.Defy him.Outright.
