Actually, the feminists have been outspoken about this issue. They've attempted to win political asylum for girls from Africa who don't want to this done to them.

But, but, what about leftists claiming it's "racist" to impose our western values on these people. Isn't it bigotry to object to this mutilation? It's almost as shameful as our western ideas about vaccinating children against disease. Who are we to think that western civilization is superior?

Actually, the feminists have been outspoken about this issue. yes but when the UN had their conferences on(for) Women the leading issues were abortion and gay rights. So I guess that since this does not affect them(american/european fems) personally, it's not their number one issue.
