The need for the US to put the Islamic world on notice of our absolute determination to respond with an attack on the centers of Islamic culture. Making it clear, we will do this with nuclear weapons.
If the leaders of the Islamic world realize they will obliterated, in the event of a WMD attack on the US, I bet their hosting and financial support will for terrorist organizations will come to a rapid end.

I don't think they even care, as they're too blinded by hate of Western Civilization from the evil koran. They're also counting on world-liberal-PC outrage to discourage us from nuking anyone. Will we have the guts to declare that response, and to do it, as we're certainly going to get *hit* again.
"They" might not care, but the millions of citizens (especially in Iran) might not be too wild about the idea of obliteration and may withhold assistance or actually work against the islamozombies.
