Aleksander Boyd, who publishes the blog Vcrisis from London, has proven to us to be a relaible source of news on the Castroite Chavez regime of Venezuela. Most recently, he scooped the world press in reporting on a nonsensical raid on a Jewish school in Caracas.

Another blog, Vheadline.com, which seems to take a pro-Chavez perspective, has taken to attacking Aleks mercilessly. It is now calling him "socially racist" and a "terrorist" in addition to a "traitor."

Aleks is a brave and honest patriot, resisting a thuggish left wing regime, as far as we can tell. We wish him well. It can be a high honor to be denounced in these terms, depending on who is slionging the insults.

The putrid chavista Web site for "news" called Vheadline will go to amazing ends to attack brave blogger Alek Boyd. It's really scary. They delve into his biography and belittle him for having once worked as a bellhop, these great champions of the proletariat. These are vicious washed-up propagandists bankrolled by the Venezuelan state oil company who will stop at nothing to savagely attack, personally, one of Venezuela's bravest freedom fighters. It's pretty sick. And they intend to harass him and harass him. Take a look at that ... output ... they excrete. They are publically threatening him under the guise of their own distorted propaganda, slandering him a terrorist, and using veiled language to threaten him. I hope he's careful for his safety, and in touch with the authorities, because these communist animals mean him, personally, some harm.

This represents the typical tyranny common to the socialist utopia. I hope Mr. Boyd takes care with his safety. These tin-pot communist wannabees sound like they are unhinged.

To be honest, I think this is the first shot in a coming war against bloggers in Venezuela, which is coming on the heels of the media-gag law that chavez's rubber-stamp parliament has just passed.

I notice that bloggers are starting to practice self-censorship in little ways - I think they've all been threatened now, Boyd most publicly. The communists will stop at nothing to keep us from getting the news. Beware.
