Global Day of Coordinated Actions on the 2nd Anniversary of the "Shock and Awe" Invasion of Iraq initiated by antiwar organizations worldwide including the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition in the United States

Antiwar actions in Washington DC, San Francisco, Los Angeles and in other cities around the country and around the world will take place on March 19/20.

Here's what you can do to show your support of the U.S. and our fine troops in Iraq and elsewhere.

Write letters to the editors of your local papers, starting about a week before the protest, pointing out that for over a year ANSWER's website included the statement that "the anti-war movement here and around the world must give its unconditional support to the Iraqi anti-colonial resistance." They are not anti-war. ANSWER's leaders are Communists disguised as peace protestors.

Find out where their protests are in your area. Get permits (if necessary in your area) to counter-protest their protest. Peaceably assemble adjacent to, but not in, the ANSWER permitted area and hold pro-troop pro-U.S. signs and American flags. Send out press relases via fax and email before your counter-protest, stressing support for the troops and ANSWER's support support for our enemies for the people in Iraq who bomb our troops, kill Iraqi civilians, and behead our civilians. Include the above quote from ANSWER that I mentioned above.

Don't just scream at your TV when the cANSWER (communist ANSWER) scum are on, do something. You're be glad that you did and the republic that you save could be your own.

Is the Protest Warrior who was kicked by the anarchists in DC yesterday OK? I heard about that from a PW who saw it.

One of the leftists waiting at the security checkpoint on 7th St, north of Pennslyvania Avenue in DC yesterday actually said to me: "Why did you come to annoy us today" and he was serious, as if he and his leftist friends truly believe that the world revolves around them.

I said: "Get real. We won. You lost. We're here to celebrate and watch a parade. You are the skunk at the parade."

Protest Warriors are good in numerous situations. The best result is that at speak-ins their courage guilts maranos like myself into the fray.
The problem during the RNC convention was that the protest
warriors were not local. This led to a series of problems and they were not well prepared. The local Republicans were far more upsetting to the protesters. Some claimed I was from Boston. However, my thick Sopranos style accent made that ridiculous. Some radicals claimed to have never met a local Conservative.

The guy was ranting about the loss of jobs and no one having worj, etc., etc. ad nauseum.

Then he asked, "How many of you out there are still looking for work?" He got barely a reply - almost stone silence. So he came back with something like, "Well, very few - I guess that's good" or something along those lines, but I was laughing too hard to hear it.

Yeah, it was great and was one of the sound bites in the sound bite of the week contest. I was thinking that she had played some other sound bites from different speakers at the ANSWER rally.

Maybe I'm thinking of some of the sound bites that Rush played today. All of their stuff blens except the "who is looking for work" Becker bit.

No, but someone said that ANSWER plans a Chicago protest.

They may add protests for Ann Arbor and/or Detroit unless they want to concentrate their area forces in Chicago.

It may be mid-February or later before they develop and publicize plans for cities other than the major ones already announced. You may check back on their website (linked above) beginning in Feb.
