Yes. You're missing the fact that it's illegal for a judge to order the murder of an innocent citizen based on her disability. This is not Nazi Germany, yet.

Starving and slow dehydration may be painful.

Why not use lethal injection if pain is to be considered as it has been determined after exhaustive study that it is the least painful and that is why it is used for executing convicts.

No person has the knowledge to ascertain whether this woman is cognitive or not. Doctors disagree among themselves.
