The problem with your question is that Terri is quite possibly not in a vegetative state. So the exercise is quite possibly invalid.

If I were in a true vegetative state, I wouldnt care one way or the other Id be unable to. If I were in a condition where I could not communicate or interact I would hope some one had the decency to let me die. That would be the worst kind of torture I could imagine.
