I agree with that, although it also has ramifications for your family. By not doing a living will, you might unintentionally put your family on welfare.

If you're on welfare to begin with, it's a no-brainer.

I believe in a living will, but I also have a medical power of attorney – it’s more binding. While it doesn’t specifically say what should be done, it gives the person absolute control. If that person is some one you trust it is very worth while.
