The Ideal Candidate for President

What are the ideal traits you look for in a Presidential candidate, what issues do they support, what issues do they oppose, and who (if the election were this year) would best represent your ideal?

Silly vanity 10. The only reasonable choice for president in 08 is clearly Leapfrog.

I thought of Roger Staubach the other day. Veteran, name recogition, succesful businessman, and I believe conservative. Does anyone know his exact political classification or is he too smart to run?

You're thinking of him as a potential candidate for president, yet you ask this? Winning isn't everything, ya know.

I am looking for anyone who can defeat the evil in 4 years. The republican party seems to be a little shallow on viable candidates that have true national appeal/recognition. The names tossed about are either RINO's or have local/regional popularity only. I hate her, but the Beast has national name recognition for the 50% of the voting morons to stupid to pay attention to platforms and vote merely on what MSM or vanity magazines have to say.

I am familiar with him enough to know that he is conservative, but was just asking if anyone knew different. He is a private, low profile guy.

Yeah, he's conservative. The best possible ticket would be Staubach-Aikman.:)

Thank you.

My first Executive Order will be to have Senator Kennedy arrested and charged with manslaughter.

I will then propose legislation making it a crime to be a pinhead democrat and charge him with that too.

Senator Clinton gets a murder wrap.

Oh, and that whole North Korea/Iran thing? Fuggetaboutit. Boom. Dust. Smoke. Crater.

Good night, and God Bless America.

Leapfrog hasn't been a Freeper long enough. We still can't trust him/her. But as to the matter at hand - you're right on with the ten.
