Liberty

We have been robbed. We sit idle as we are plundered. We answer not the call to action. We have but ourselves to blame. The criminals and villains were known to us, we knew they were coming. Yet we did nothing to stop them. We did not meet them in the field, our swords lay rusting. We did far worse to ourselves, for it was we who opened the very gates and allow them to lay waste. Whether it was by our own hands or the hands of the allies of our enemies amongst us, matters not the ending is the same. They are within our walls.

The thieves wore robes and we call them Judges, they wore suits and we call them legislators, they were vocal and we call them lobbyists. Political correctness robs us our thoughts. Hate crimes condemn us in that which is in our minds not the actions of our hands. The granite of the Constitution is chipped away, we stare at the rubble that was the foundation of our liberty.

Judges usurp the powers given them, defined by the Constitution. Congress ignores its Constitutional Duty to reign in the courts. We the people ignore the confiscation of our rights by both the Congress and the courts. We hold fast, and allow our representatives to hold in contempt, our freedoms. Setting politics before liberty, and their personal power and ego above country.

Our fathers, our grandfathers, and our forefathers would not have stood idle. Yet we dishonor our birthright by doing just that, we sit on our posteriors and stare in wonder at our lack of movement.

Hold accountable those who would steal our liberty. Quit bickering amongst ourselves. Stand together for our freedoms and our country. Put America before petty self interests and personal wants. Our Nation is at risk, our Republic crumbles. It is easier to stop it and repair the damage than to rebuild it from the rubble.

Give up the Democrat, forget the Republican, ignore the Independent, be not loyal to any but ourselves, “WE THE PEOPLE” and to WE the Americans. Stand firm against the rising tyranny. Stand as one, listen no more to the promises of politicians, and obey not the unconstitutional precedents handed down by the courts. Give no loyalty to those who strip away our liberties. Revolt, as is your right at the voting booth. Vote out them all. Vote against all in power. Replace everyone. And continue to do so until those who are supposed to represent us, and are BOUND by the Constitution, start listening to the people once again. Cause them to know the fear once more from “WE THE PEOPLE”

We by our very nature are selfish, but that selfishness is destroying us. We are consumed by ideology and then are consumed by differing ideologies. We let party and politics block our vision to the very document we purport to believe in, the US Constitution. That document is the LAW. Unto that our judges and our legislators are DUTY BOUND to obey. It is not a “living document” to be molded and shaped by our times. It is a rock, which can only be chiseled away a piece at a time. Within that document is the very method which to modify that document. Nowhere does it grant that power to the courts. No language within allows for the removal or modifying of those rights by the government without the people’s consent by the Amendment process.

We are lost, our liberties stripped, if we allow it to continue. You may not believe that the whole of the Constitution is correct, that there are flaws in which you do not agree. But it would do you well to remember that the rights you deem as needed to be reigned in, or removed or regulated are yours also. And those who disagree with you may want to reign in the rights in which you agree. We as the people, as the employers of those representatives need to fire them all in the name of freedom. Before we go wondering where it is our liberty was lost.

I like it, it is well thought out and had the bonus of being spot on. I started voting Republican mainly because they were out of power, and have recently vowed to myself to now target only those that are performing excellently, and throw the rest out. It is the only thing I can do, and I pray that others do the same in their different states and districts.

My wife and I have this discussion about these robed and suited thieves at least once a week. The fix is in. The nanny state is upon us and we only have to look to Europe to see our future: ban the guns, government run healthcare, no level of private industry or business that is not regulated and taxed.

The best thing for us to do is quit our jobs, divest ourselves of all assets, donate the proceeds to charity and become wards of the state, because in the end that's where we'll be anyway.

A noble but ill-conceived rant.

First we can't throw all the bums out. You can try to throw out yours and I, mine, but success is far from likely. You have to get someone to run against all of them and that is not likely, either. If we could do it by just saying it, we would have already.

Patience my friend.

In fact, what we really need is to stop bickering and all join together against the left, which will most likely be Hillary. If she gets in, say bye bye to America as we know it.

It basically signs over our soveignty to the U.N. I don't think it was ever countermanded by Congress. Regardless, if Hillary gets in it will be established as law. Then she and her merry band of Communist will rule the world through the U.N.

As some of us warned in the past, the Clinton plan is for her to be President of the U.S. and Slick to be Secretary General of the U.N. With her appointing the American U.N. Ambassador, it will then be a fait acompli.

This is serious stuff folks. Don't go to sleep and destroy our Republican unity with so much at stake.

Nope. Just vote all all the incumbants. Let them know their "jobs" are not safe. Most of the Reps we have are gutless RINOS.

Let them not have the security of staying in office. Wasting money and campaigning instead of doing what is right.

NO ONE SHOULD "RETIRE" from the Senate or the House. It was never meant to be a lifetime APPOINTMENT.

Those who vote on the laws oft do not live by them.

Dems are worthless. Reps are spineless. PROTECT the CONSTITUTION first and foremost. No matter party, no matter politics. And hold them to it.

Article III gives power over the courts to CONGRESS. Yet they do nothing. Close the doors of ALL INFERIOR FEDERAL COURTS. Leave only that judicial body established by the CONSTITUTION. Let the judges fear for their jobs.

Most of your points I agree with in spirit. My difference is in coming up with a practical way to do it considering there is a large body of people who don't think like me and you.

Your comments are right but I can tell you this rabbit hole runs much deeper than any of us will ever know and it's roots go back a long, long way.....even to Civil War days. Our constitutional republic has been usurped and has been replaced by this new style of "corporate governance" called a democracy.

In this new paradigm, most if not all of the Commmunist Manifesto has been implemented and we see these artificial entities known as "the city of__ or the county of___ or the state of____" implementing a blizzard of codes, regulations, etc. that are designed to either EXERT more control over the people and their property or to EXTRACT as many $ as possible from them in the form of taxes, fees, permits, etc.
At last count there are over 60 MILLION of these on the books right now which gives new meaning to the phrase "ignorance of the law is no excuse"!

The real truth NONE of the codes, rules, reg's, etc. are real law......they're created under "color oflaw" and many of which have absolutely no Constitutional basis at all!!
There is no way in hell that some little city hall nazi code enforcer has any right to interfere with our personal and commercial affairs......no attorney has the right to send you any letter or notice to do anything!.......they are nothing more than "third party" debt collectors/interveners and they can be shut down in a NY minute before they can ever be in a postion to ransack your life.

It's a disgusting situation but many groups are out there fighting this good fight and they're working tirelessly to inform America that this battle can be won only if we re-discover WHO WE REALLY ARE and fight those who wish to steal our birthright and heritage.
