TV stations misleading about assault at anti-Arnold rally?

Previously I offered "True face of Democratic Party: union thugs attack woman at anti-Arnold rally": she had her cap pulled off, she was beaten with signs, and one of the security workers ripped up her signs.

Now, speaking on KFI, the victim of the assault claims it was even worse than what was shown on TV. She says the pro-union forces also poured water on her head and threw things at her. And, she says that several TV stations must have filmed that.

Yet, only a small - but highly disturbing - segment of the attack was shown on just two Los Angeles TV stations.

She'll be appearing on Hannity and Colmes tomorrow night, so hopefully they'll be able to find the full footage from, for instance, Fox's local affiliate.

As I said before: if you're on the fence or you're a reasonable person who opposes these propositions for some reason, watch the video. And, send the link to the video to everyone else so they can see what the other side really is.

Reminds me of the picture last year of the union goon who swiped a Bush-Cheney sign from a young girl who was sitting on her father's shoulders and tore it up, as the girl brust out in tears.

UNION THUGS UNHINGED

Check out this video of not-so-peaceful union protesters in California--here (via the California Republican Party) and at The Political Teen--mobbing a lone pro-Schwarzenegger woman on Thursday who supports union reform initiatives on next week's ballot.

Even the "security guard" (that's her in the photo below in the middle of the screen with the orange vest) piled on and helped ripped up the poor woman's signs.

I'm sure if it were the other way around, the national network news shows would be running the full video near the top of their broadcasts. But who needs 'em anymore?

Screen shot via The Political Teen:

The California Conservative has the story covered.

Local KCAL9 reporter Carter Evans in Los Angeles:

Opponents tried to hit her with their signs, and some blocked news cameras as she argued her point. The crowd turns quickly, grabbing her signs and tearing them up, even a woman wearing an orange security vest angrily rips up the Vote Yes signs.

Lonewacko notes:

Someone wearing a 'Unite Here' T-shirt reaches down from the stage and grabs the victim's cap off, and she has to reach back to grab it back. And, I saw at least one person put her hands on the victim.

So there we have it in living color: the unhinged union Left's whatever-it-takes protectionism. "Whatever" meaning pushing. Shoving. Destroying property.
Squelching free speech. And intimidating women.

The California Republican Party writes:

While $115 million has been spent by public employee unions to oppose the reform initiatives and promote a message that the voices of their members will be silenced if Prop 75 passes, an angry mob of dues paying union members showed what little respect they have for free speech by physically attacking a woman who spoke out in support of the governor’s reform initiatives.

...Whipping the crowd into a frenzy was none other than Speaker Fabian Nunez, who was a featured speaker at the rally in Pershing Square. At the very least, Nunez – a former union organizer himself – has a duty to issue a public apology to this woman on behalf the union bosses who control him. That is, unless the Speaker believes that violence and thuggery are acceptable forms of public expression.

Call Speaker Fabian Nunez’s office today and DEMAND THAT HE ISSUE A PUBLIC APOLOGY TO GENEVIEVE PETERS.

Update on Kerry Supporter Harrassing 3-Year Old Girl

Most people saw Matt's post below regarding the Kerry supporter driving the 3-year old girl to tears for holding a Bush-Cheney sign. Although the Left tried to discredit the authenticity, Michelle Malkin did better diligence than CBS to disprove the allegations of faking the incident.

Well it looks like this situation has reached as high as the White House, as President Bush reached out to comfort this little girl:

If the picture of little 3-year-old Sophia Parlock crying after some Kerry-Edwards supporters tore up her Bush-Cheney poster got to you, well, you weren't the only one. President Bush and even first pup Barney were dismayed too, we hear.

It happened at a West Virginia rally last week for Democratic running mate Sen. John Edwards, to which Phil Parlock brought his daughter. After seeing the picture of the tearful Sophia on her dad's shoulders, aides said the president was sending her a little note Friday along with a signed campaign poster and an autographed photo of the prez and his dog.

"Dear Sophia," Bush penned, "Thank you for supporting my campaign. I understand someone tore up your sign. So I am sending you a new sign and a signed picture. Please give my best to your family. Sincerely, George W. Bush."

And on the picture, he inked: "To Sophia, Best wishes from me and Barney."

Phil Parlock tells us it really wasn't necessary. "He already said 'Thank you' when he hugged her" at a previous Bush rally they attended, he says. "She bragged for days."

This isn't the first time the President has rallied to comfort a young supporter on the campaign trail.

A lady from Fresno called our local talk radio show and told of her harassment at a Arnie appearance here by the local union thugs. She had her children with her and was so upset and terrified by the actions of these thugs. Too bad the media decides to hide this stuff from the public.
