Why is it that self-described IDers can't come to anything approaching a rough consensus as to what ID actually is? I think they can and do. The rough consensus is that man and other creatures were created by an intelligence superior to man's and that it didn't come about by accident. This covers the gamut from young earthers to genetic alteration by aliens (or whatever).
