The DUmmies are idiots, we all know that. But some giant operation like this still doesn't look good almost 3 years after the war started.
Why? Iraqi soldiers outnumbered ours if I remember what they said last night.
This operation involved about 1500 troops of both the US and Iraqi armed forces. Not exactly a "giant operation" by any standard.
That's a good point. An operation like this would have no effect on Bush's poll numbers. If anything, it reminds people that work still needs to be done in Iraq. Not exactly a brilliant political strategy to raise poll numbers. But, in a leftist's mind, everything is about Meeeeeee. So, Bush must have done this to say "hey, look at me, I'm important and can do anything I want." (Examples: leaders of North Korea and Venezuela)
