Retired detective revives unsolved 1972 homicide investigation with book

I was reading a book review in The Journal News that discussed a 1972 homicide of a NYPD officer who was killed in a New York Mosque. The name of the book is "Circle Of Six " and it is entitled to draw attention to the six public figures that acted to cover up the investigation of the officer's death. One of the six is the beloved and delightful liberal congressman from New York - Representative Charlie "Hustler for Islam" Rangel.

The review discusses how Rangel worked with Calypso Louie Farrakhan to make a deal that eventually led to the suspect(s) in the murder from being identified. Of course now Rangel doesn't recall much of anything about the incident. I think the book might be worth reading and offering conservatives in New York to ask some hard questions of Rangel and why he supports our enemies in Islam back then when they killed a police officer, and why he still supports them now after 09/11.

According to the article the book is due to be released in Mid-October. Randy Jurgensen and Robert Cea co-author the book. It should be available at amazon.com. The full book title is: "Circle of Six: The True Story of New York's Most Notorious Cop-Killer and The Cop Who Risked Everything to Catch Him "
