For anyone wondering, the deadline for filing of the briefs for the Appeal is May 2, 2007 (original deadline was April 3). There may be more in the news, soon. Will Judge Cardone have input into that?

No. Cardone was the district court judge in the last trial. Now it’s before the Appeals Court and will be subject to a 3 judge panel. (I don’t know which judges—I’m not sure how that works).
