Recently, the Rev. Jesse Jackson shocked the political world when he launched a "sharp" tirade against Democratic presumptive presidential nominee, Barack Obama. Jackson was caught on a live mike before an interview with FOX and Friends (FOX News Channel) regarding the subject of health care, essentially saying that he wanted to remove Obama's reproductive anatomy with a cutting utensil. Jackson drove home his point, for lack of a better phrase, by pantomiming a cutting motion when he talked about the surgical procedure he would like to perform on the junior Senator from Illinois.
The story hit the airwaves like a bombshell. Besides a "Reverend" -- a supposed man of God -- saying things that were best suited for a Stephen King novel or better yet Lorena Bobbitt...

My opinion from the get go, a set up.
I agree. Can’t really explain why, but my gut reaction is “set up.” Jackson’s just too familiar with electronic media to make that kind of mistake.
Hillary-motivated?
Mine too. A complete setup. Who does obama need to win over to win the election? Blacks are solidly behind him and so are white uber libs. He needs white working class voter to win...and who would be most impressed with him if he had a tiff with Jesse Jackson? White working class voters, of course. With one little whispered aside barack has now seperated himself completely from the race bait industry that whites hate so much. Nice.
The Revvvrund and the other guy were both looking directly into the camera when he uttered those infamous words about castrating the presumptive 'Rat nominee. IMHO, this is just another way to make BHO look like he's 'above' the 'old racial politics': JJ knows how he's viewed by the majority of Americans, and he and Obama knew exactly how the ('conservative') media would play it.
And Bill O'Reilly took the bait: Obama now looks like the 'victim' in this whole affair. A brilliant move by the Obama campaign.
A set-up made to make Obama look like a moderate.
1. Jessee's whiney groveling foot kissing apology makes it seem like it is Jessee with the jewels in a vise. Ok, this actually supports your theory.
2. With BHO's recent flip flopping on everything, Jessee would have had a really hard time actually finding some to perform surgery on.
The only reason I doubt it, is because this was not good for Jackson’s reputation.
Set up. It sure has crossed my mind. It helps Obama flip flop flipping his way to the middle.
