Workers World newspaper in the past has supported the candidates of Workers World Party running for national office in the U.S. presidential elections and who have put forward a revolutionary socialist program. This time we are taking the unusual step of endorsing the candidacy of Cynthia McKinney because these are unique times and this is a unique candidate.

I was in college and walking to a class. Some moron student who looked like a 60s throwback (this was 1997) was handing out Workers’ World newspaper or magazine, or something similar, like some Socialist rag, I can’t remember anymore...he ran up to me and said “man, you have to read this, it’s so eye opening...companies run America and screw all of us...blah blah etc.”
I took the paper and said “thanks.”
I promptly took a lighter out of my pocket, lit the magazine on fire, and threw it on the concrete and walked away. The commie got a look on his face like I’d just killed his puppy.
Probably wasn’t smart to throw burning paper on the ground, but it was funny!

20+ years ago when I was in college, there was this old man handing out the paper of these twits.
I recognized it for what it was when I read the first one...communist propoganda. I used to yell at this douchenozzle. “WHY ARE YOU A COMMUNIST STOOGE??? ANSWER ME YOU STUPID @#$$WIT!!”
