The NY Times has an article on something called black radio as the answer to Rush Limbaugh during this election. Ever ready to create racial divisions, the Times makes it appear that black radio will negate Limbaugh and increase black votes for Obama.
From the article:
While debate may continue over whether Mr. Obama is drawing an inordinate share of attention from mainstream news and entertainment outlets, there is generally little pretense of balance in major African-American media outlets. More often than not, the Obama campaign is discussed as the home team.
And
The favoritism extends beyond talk radio. This months Ebony magazine lists Mr. Obama first among the 25 Coolest Brothers of All Time, alongside Muhammad Ali and Malcolm X. Caribbean stations play songs about him, like Barack Obama by Cocoa Tea and Barack the Magnificent by the calypso star Mighty Sparrow. We spin them three, four times a day, said Sir Rockwell, the morning D.J. at WDJA in Delray Beach, Fla.

I thought in America we were all on the "home team".
with 92% plus of blacks going to vote for Obama this will garner him an extra zero votes.
Amazing. One of the coolest brothers of all time was raised by a white family. His Nigerian father was mostly absent from his life.
But on the other hand since Obama is basically a brother by choice perhaps that is in his favor.
So if the Fairness Doctrine applied, would that mean that these “black radio stations” would have to air Rush?
N-word please
Listen to Chicago racist black radio once in awhile and you will see how much they despise conservatives.
Where’s the barf alert?
It would be nice to negate the blowhard without increasing votes for Obama.
Black radio station WTF.

I listen to black stations every so often, you are wrong though, the utter hatred for “whitey” is what they promote, period.
I’ve listened to hat station off and on for 20 years.
It’s funny at times, devoid of all logic.
Uh...ninja? Nincompoop? Nutter-butter? Narcoleptic?
NANCY PELOSI PLEASE.
I hear black radio while shopping at Dollar General. It used to be great music and inspirational moments with black preachers. Now it’s all OBAMA.
Oh spare us, little man.
The big difference is that anything that Limbaugh says is subject to being called racist, but whatever is said on the other stations will be accepted as truth.
I suspect the number of folk that listen to "black radio" is not a lot in the grand scheme of things.
