One Last reason to be Optimistic

We all know the Media has been selling this election for Obama for nearly a year. Don’t take my word for it – just ask the Clinton’s. We are all told that there is but a slim reed of hope for McCain. However, there is an interesting dynamic which adds to the potential of a McCain victory. While the Media has been selling a victory for Obama – the Democrats have not been brandishing their internal polls. Why not? If things were going so well for them, why wouldn’t they be pushing their polling showing their huge lead so that Republicans are discouraged? Could it be that it is closer than the Media lets on?

We shall see. In the meantime, go elect a local Republican as you vote for John McCain.

November 2, 2008 Why The Early Voting Exit Polls Are Meaningless

Impatient to release their bogus exit polls, the Media is off and running to release their early voting exit polls. Surprise, the Big Media polling says Obama is way ahead - other do not. But are they meaningful? Probably not.

The operative questions are: Are these people who would have voted anyway but are simply doing it early or are they voters who would not have voted but for early voting? If it is the latter, then it is meaningful. If it is the former, then it is completely meaningless.

In either case, you still have the question of whether people are honestly

Snap out of denial. Obama is cruising to a landslide. First, take just a moment to realize how far we’ve come as a nation since I was a boy, electing a black man President. Absolutely incredible. Then resolve to keep him and the Dems in check over the next two-four years as loyal opposition, in the best tradition of our country.

Bookmarking for potential heaping of derision upon you tomorrow. :)

But seriously, folks, I think it all comes down to PA. 0bama and his minions might have said just enough to tick off western PA voters. If so, McCain can win the electoral vote.

How exactly do you expect to keep the Dems in check if they control all three branches of government? How can we keep them in check if they use the force of Federal law to mute our voices in the public square?

We need to do our best to win this today. Nothing is won or lost until the votes are counted. Conservatives do not not win by Republicans losing this election.

My loyalty is to my country, its flag and its Constitution, none of which is represented by the anti-American pretender with his fascist emblem and global mindset. Knuckling down to tyranny is NOT within the best tradition of the United States of America. Obama is totally without honor and is anathema to those whom will place their country first, be it at their own peril.

What’s more “incredible” is a flat-out racist socialist/marxist...even getting this far.

It would be a shame to have the first black President be a socialist nut job.

I am thinking McCain might win, else McCain and Obama (who have access to internal polls we don't) would not have been spending their last few days in "blue" states.

I am not in denial. I am optimistic. I have spent the last several days and weeks in phone banks, making thousands of calls for McCain. I think he has a very good shot of winning this election. I do not believe or trust the polls. They have been very wrong in the past, and I have no doubt they are fudging their results to help with their own agenda.

I live in California, so I doubt McCain will win here, but, because of the propositions on the ballot, we have a lot more people voting than in the past and there is some talk that the McCain/Obama race will be tighter than expected due to that.

All I know is that for the first time in my adult life, there were lines at my polling place at 7:05 am.
