OBAMA LETHAL FOR ISRAEL: OBAMA SENDS HAMAS LOVER, ROBERT MALLEY TO EGYPT AND SYRIA
Atlas Shrugs ^ | November 9, 2008 | Pamela Geller

Obama hasn't even taken office yet and he is sending annihilationist sympathizers and enablers to Syria and Egypt. I kid you not. Do not expect big (but getting smaller) media to report this. As Chris Matthews (of the sexual tittering leg said), My Job Is To Help Make Obama’s Presidency a Success. Malley to Syria must be part of the media's new mantra and central theme -   'undoing what Bush did'.

THE 78% OF THE JEWS THAT VOTED FOR OBAMA ARE FIRST IN LINE -it's only fair. I told the senior Jews on The Great Schlep, but alas, I was Moshe Beadle.

Moshe runs from one Jewish household to the next. "Jews, listen to me! It's all I ask of you. No money. No pity. Just listen to me!"[13]

Back in May, Barry Rubin predicted that Obama would choose Robert Malley, a former State Department official who criticized Israel for its role in the failure of the Camp David peace talks in 2000, to be director of policy planning, if elected. And Rubin said it was no accident that Obama's recent reference to the Israel-Palestinian conflict as "a constant sore" was the same phrase Rashid Khalidi, a professor of Arab studies at Columbia University,  has used in an article in The Nation.

The message was that the Obama administration would take into greater account Egyptian and Syrian interests," an aide to Mr. Malley said.

Obama, according to the aide, plans to initiate a diplomatic initiative towards Syria, reversing the policy of President Bush, who regards Syria as a leading supporter of insurgency in Iraq.

OBAMA SENDS HAMAS SUPPORTER, ROBERT MALLEY,  TO EGYPT AND SYRIA  Middle East Newswire

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Presidential-elect Barack Obama has promised to improve U.S. relations with Egypt and Syria. Aides said Obama had sent senior foreign policy adviser Robert Malley to Egypt and Syria over the last few weeks to outline the Democratic candidate's policy on the Middle East. The aides said Malley, who served in the administration of President Bill Clinton, relayed a pledge from Obama that the United States would seek to enhance relations with Cairo as well as reconcile with Damascus. "The tenor of the messages was that the Obama administration would take into greater account Egyptian and Syrian interests," an aide said.

Was Malley fired - did he resign? What's the difference. The Jew hater is removed from the public eye. Maybe Hamas has an opening ....

Robert Malley told The Times he had regularly been in contact with Hamas, which controls Gaza but is listed by the US State Department as a terrorist organisation. Such talks, he stressed, were related to his work for [International Crisis Group,] a conflict resolution think tank and had no connection with his position on Mr Obama's Middle East advisory council.

Ok

Fire him for holding direct talks with terrorists when you are trying to get the Jewish vote.

After securing the Jewish vote, hire him to have direct talks with terrorists.

How can Obama be doing all this international finagling without even taking office? I wondered how he did it when he was campaigning. Thought that sort of action was against the law. ‘Course who is going to enforce the law against the president-elect of the U.S.?

Who enforces such laws? The justice department? The Supreme court? Congress? We cannot get any help here.

78% of the Jewish Vote went to Obama.

Obviously the Jews and Israel support Obama and his pro Palestinian policies. Is there any other way to look at the situation?

How do we as conservatives benefit from a pro Israeli position?

Maybe conservatives should hedge our bets on Israel.

Only it’s good for the USA, then be pro-Israel

How does supporting Israel benefit the US? The Jews themselves know that supporting Israel is bad for the US.

Obama also selected Rahm Emanuel to be WH COS. This guy holds two passports and served with the IDF in 1991 working on an IDF base. I would say that is as pro-Israel as you can get. And Axelrod and Plouffe will be part of his administration after running his campaign. Malley may have been added to provide some balance.

Israel will be supported, make no mistake about it. There wll be a record number of Jewish Congressmen in the 111th congress. There are already 43 members in the current Congress--13 in the Senate and 30 in the House. By comparison there are only 44 members in the black caucus.

Why do conservatives support the Jews and Israel? Bush spent the majority of his Presidency engaged in Wars based primarily on our support of Israel.

John Bolten was on Fox today and said the next 10 weeks will be a time to watch what Israel does regarding Iran as they cannot wait to see what Obama does.

Duh!

The 77% of American Jews who voted for Obama knew exactly what they were getting, and it's becoming REALLY unclear to me why I should give a damn.

There is no longer any benefit to the American people from support for Israel.

Three-quarters of American Jews voted for an annihilationist candidate for President, and he won.

The things which will now follow are as clear as crystal.

I will support evacuation assistance for the survivors, but that's about it. We've got plenty of trouble right here, defending the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies - we've no time to spare for a nation which will not even defend itself.

Read the bible.....it will answer this question.

So the Jews are right. Christians support Israel just so it can be destroyed and Christ can come again.

Geez I feel like I am in an episode of the twilight zone.

I knew this would happen. This is his Arafat guy. Hussein said he fired this guy, well, he never actually admitted he was a adviser.

Being pro-Israel is no more about gaining a cynical political benefit than is being pro-life. According to the Catholic News Service 54% of Catholics voted Obama. Perhaps it’s time for the Pope to abandon the Church’s anti-abortion stance. That makes as much sense as your proposal to abandon Israel, especially now.

Israeli’s overwhelmingly supported McCain (or perhaps opposed Obama). Judging from PM Livini’s “advice” to Obama she doesn’t think much of him even now. American Jews, for the most part, delude themselves that Obama is not dangerous. (That will change, trust me.) But that is no reason to punish our only democratic friend in the middle east.

And sure Israel needs us, but the US needs Israel too. If you need a benefit, she is an important base of military and intelligence operations for us as well as an innovator in military technology. Remember the Arrow missle?
