I'm shocked, OK, maybe not. Note: Sam Nunn via Wikipedia- There was speculation that he could have been the running mate of Democratic candidate Barack Obama in 2008. Nunn currently serving as an informal chief advisor to President-elect Obama in a transition of State and Defense Departments[2].

Try to get into, uh, large circulation, established conservative media. Reach filthy rich movie makers, intellectuals in so-called academic circles. Cynical, ego-centric people who can look into your eyes with angelic expression and tell you a lie. This are the most recruitable people; people who lack moral principals - who are either too greedy or too, uh, suffer from self-importance, uh, they feel that they matter a lot. Uh, these are the people who KGB wanted very much to recruit.

They are both Beltway creatures and an 'outsider' like Palin who doesn't understand 'how the game is played' sends shivers up their spines instead of tingles up their legs.
They have no chits nor dirt on her and and in Washington, that makes her a threat to their rice bowl.
I saw Nunn weeks ago on stage with Obama.
