I’d have to see those pics. She looks tall, lanky, scrawny to me.

She is tall and lanky and scrawney, but has a beautiful face in other pictures. She has a warrant out for her arrest for fleeing the US with her kids after her husband was awarded custody. She has her position and wealth because her father happens to be President. She has been accused of running prostitution rings in the night clubs she owns too.

I had no idea GooGoosha was that tall. I kinda doubt that the Uzbek bosses are going to pick Karimov’s daughter to succeed him though.

Well to be fair, that New Jersey court had no jurisdiction over her kids to begin with and never should have agreed to hear the case. She and her husband were residents of Uzbekistan (as you said, her father is the president). Her husband, an American citizen, lured her to the US and filed for divorce there because he thought he could get better terms.

You’re talking about the starving lady wearing a slip, standing with the two midgets?

Are you kidding? The NJ courts rarely give custody to the father. She took the kids and fled the country! She was arrested for it in UAE (I think).

She is just a third world despot like Putin.

She isn't a US resident. She had every right to leave and take her children with her. Why would a NJ court have any right to hear a divorce petition from two foreigners? It's obvious the judge took the case for political reasons.

The divorce put an end to the Maksudis' cornucopia. Gulnara practically smuggled her kids out of New Jersey where she had lived with her husband. The Uzbek court ruled that the children should be raised by the mother, the American sided up with the father, a citizen of the United States. Gulnara did not return the children, and the court ordered her arrest and slapped the fine of $3.2 million on Karimova.

They were residents in NJ when the divorce took place. The husband is a US Citizen. She fled the country and was arrested in the UAE until her dad made her an ambassador which gave her diplomatic immunity.

They had houses all over the world. They got divorced in a Uzbek court first. He didn't like the arrangement and convinced an NJ judge to but into another court's case - something courts rarely do.

Then why did she have to sneak her kids out of the US? What are you, her press agent?

She did it to avoid a court order.

What are you, her press agent?

No. Are you his? I know who and what she is. But that doesn't change the fact that he went venue shopping after an Uzbek court ruled against him.

People do play dirty in divorce cases. That he would try getting a new hearing somewhere else doesn't surprise me. The real question for me is why the NJ court heard the case.

They were residents in NJ. That is why NJ had jurisdiction. The husband is an American citizen from NJ.

Russia’s not third world...

Without oil, it is and most of the people outside of Moscow do not benefit from their oil at all. They have mortality rates of the third world too. Now they have a tinpot dictator to go with it.
